At the tailend we have optional field trips, in which we go to public venues, meet people, interact and get useful feedback that helps us all improve our social skills -- especially with women. The Gay & Gray Initiative is a new program established to advocate for and reach out to the members of the LGBT Community age 50 and up. This is a group of mature female triathlete newbies who want to go from their couch to running, biking, and swimming their way through a sprint triathlon! It's a life changer.....guaranteed. I participated in a few sprints 4 years ago, and want to get back to it again. It takes time, and commitment and is much more fun as a group. Don't think about it too long, grab a girlfriend, and just come to an orientation meeting.
